The following chart indicates the percentage of the moon that will be illuminated on any given day during the winter season. Plan your trip to take advantage of the phase of the moon...Why not ski to the Canyon Rim under a full moon or if you prefer, star gaze at millions of stars under a new moon.
Dates of the full moon this winter are: December 24th, January 22nd, and February 21st. Aim for a moonlight night-ski of the Canyon Rim or star gaze during a new moon (January 7th, February 6th, and March 8th).
